Creating Your Own Look Using Vintage Eras

The first step to creating your own look using vintage eras is to choose an era that matches your body type.  For instance, the era of Twiggy and the 1960s focused on skinny legs.  Portraying looks like Twiggy isn't a great fit if your body is very toned.  Look for an era that flatters your body. It may be that 1950s day dresses show off your fabulous waist.  Dedicate your look to focus on what flatters you the most.  Keep in mind that you don't need to overdo it and fill your closet with clothing only from one era.  Don't label yourself from an era. Let other people notice your fabulous style and label you as a style icon or trendsetter!
